Do you want to change some aspect of your life, whether it be losing weight, starting an exercise routine, change a relationship, change your job, start your own business?

You can become the change you want and be the person you want to be. All you have to do is learn how to change and how to manage that change effectively so it is long lasting.

In this video about Change, I will show you how I went from being suicidal, bankrupt, having a job I hated, no girlfriend, no car, no house, no money to having a fantastic wife, two great kids, 1/4 million pound house (my dream house), author of 4 books, two cars, a job I love and I am totally loving life. All because I looked at life in a different way and managed to change and looked at the process of change.

I will show you:

* The ‘Change Code’ (The six step code for changing your life)
* Why people find it difficult to change
* How to change for good

The video is around 45 minutes long, so grab a cup of coffee or tea and I hope you enjoy this.

I welcome comments and will personally reply to all comments as quickly as I can.

Kindest regards

Enjoyed the video, even the dog barking in the background.

The comments about Michael Jordan’s bridge, what happened to his core self when he attempted a career change to baseball? Poor foundation? Poor execution ?

    • Steven Aitchison

Hey John, that dog must have ruined about 2 hours of video footage :)

Jordans decision to play for the White Sox was his fathers dream, not his, so the passions wasn’t there, so I guess he didn’t really follow any of the steps for change because the passion wasn’t there.

    What do you think?
Very good job, Steven. Particularly liked the insight that the way to become more comfortable with yourself is by being willing to be uncomfortable. Great play on words with major wisdom.
    Looking forward to what’s next.
    Jerry

    • Steven Aitchison

Hi Jerry, thanks for your comments, I appreciate your thoughts on this.

  3. Caroline

Thank you for an excellent analysis of what how to change. I look forward to the next videos!

    • Steven Aitchison

Thanks Caroline. The next video will be a little shorter but no less important :)

  4. Dia

Thanks Steven, very informative video. I liked how you mentioned that we have to get out of our comfort zone. This is sooo true. Otherwise, nothing changes.

I look forward to the other videos

    • Steven Aitchison

Thanks Dia. I think a lot of people are stuck within their comfort zone and wonder why life is not changing. The thing is we have to be prepapred to work a little in order to change and a lot of us don’t like that.

  5. shanglawt

    What do you think?
I really like the message about the bridge between your core-self and your ideal-self, and thank you for being so open about yourself.

    Kind regards.

    • Steven Aitchison

Thanks for your comments Geesje. I didn’t know whether or not to tell the story in the video, but I figured i would be as open and honest as I could and let viewers get to know the real me and how I really have turned my life around and how others can do it to.

      Thanks again.

    • Steven Aitchison

Hi Rosario, thanks for your comments I appreciate them. I will be sending out the next video later on today which is looking at rituals, I think you’ll like this one as well.

  10. Debi

Thank you for your work, Steven – your honesty and authenticity shine through your message. You have a very professional yet relaxed demeanor that helps people immediately relate to you. Your personal story lends hope to those who may feel trapped or limited at the moment (cough, cough), so I appreciate so much your sharing. I’m looking forward to the next video, and of course I’m loving the accent ; )

When this video series is complete, will you be offering any sort of group coaching options?

    • Steven Aitchison

Hi Debi, thank you for your comments here, I am really glad that the videos are helping someone (cough, cough :) ), thanks also about the comment about the accent, I didn’t know if readers would be able to understand it okay, but it’s not too broad I suppose :) .

I didn’t honestly consider group coaching, but if demand is high enough I would consider it, I will be offering individual coaching.

Intrigued…getting ready to watch next video

    • Steven Aitchison

Hope you enjoy the other videos as well Kris. Thanks for leaving a comment.

  12. Dan

Steven, I would like to commend you for all the effort you have instilled, and continue to inject into your series. I have been working hard trying to make some critical changes in my life, and have found the process quite difficult. I think what it has come down to, is stepping out of the comfort zone, and entering the unfamiliar zone, thereby becoming more comfortable and thereby more confident. Your example of the “Core Self-Idealized self” has actually brought a perspective I never really considered. I have read many blogs, and other self help books, but could not see the how the actual shift can commence. Your “Bridging” comment put closure on that! Further, I can also say that when you introduced the “3 Selves: Logical, emotional and spiritual”, I became excited, for it just provides me a clearer image of how to bring my true self into alignment. I have worked on meditation, and it brings quite a bit of insight, and my logic seems to be in check, but my emotional self has been quite fuzzy; I do believe that I can and will focus in order to become better aligned. Thanks so much, and I truly look forward to your further knowledge and insight! Dan

    • Steven Aitchison

Hi Dan. I am honestly so glad that this video helped change your perspective a little, that really is my only wish when I started this program.

I think you are doing a fantastic thing by meditating, I think it is one of the most powerful ways to align our 3 selves, and you seem to be gaining a lot of benefit from meditation. Your emotions will come into alignment as you become more self aware, I also do a complete module on emotional mastery in the main program.

  13. Stewart Forrest

Brilliant! I’m not sure which made a greater impression. Your inspiring insights or your precious honesty. It is so nice to come across someone who clearly wants to help others. As most of us want to in some way or other, your videos are going to make the world a better place. Thank you.

    • Steven Aitchison

Hi Stewart, thank you so much for your comments, I am really glad you found the video inspiring.

  14. Eduardo Mx

Hi Stewart, I am profoundly deaf. I would like to know what did you say in this video. I hope you will be willing to type out complete information, not summary, you lectured for your audience. Thank you.

    • Steven Aitchison

Hi David :) , I will be sending out a link on Sunday or Monday for the PDF files. thanks for bringing this to my attention.

  15. Adrian DInu

    HI Steven!

Very good idea to provide these kinds of videos for folks. I was wondering about one thing: d’you have any plans to provide audio versions of these? Dunno about others, but I for one would just LOVE using all the time I normally waste commuting listening to what you’re saying in the video. Speaking of extra goodies, when/how do we get that pdf you mentioned? :) Congratulations for the really useful videos! Can’t wait to watch them all :)

    PS – Sounds like you’ve got a nice, reliable guard-dog ;)

    • Steven Aitchison

H Adrian. I will be sending out downloadable audio files for these on Sunday or Monday, so keep an eye on your emails. I love listening to personal development audio as well, when I’m driving or waiting in line or something so I know what you mean :)

The guard dog is a neighbours dog who wouldn’t stop barking for about 2 hours. I was that engrossed in doing the videos that I didn’t really hear it until I went to edit all the videos I had made.

  16. Deb

    What do you think?
Thank you for breaking down the steps of change. It makes it easier to see how to get from point A to point B when the steps are laid out clearly. I’m eager to see the other videos. I’m also glad to see that you’ll be posting PDF transcripts so I can go back and refer to the text frequently. I’m not happy with my life right now, but I don’t know what to change because nothing seems to be what I want for my ideal self, so I have to figure that out for myself first. Then I’ll know how to go about making those changes, thanks to you and your videos.

    • Steven Aitchison

Hi Deb, I think when you watch all the videos you will have a better grasp of where to start and what direction to go in. Look forward to hear your progress

  17. Maya

    What do you think?

I liked so much your idea

    Thank you

    • Steven Aitchison

thanks Maya, I appreciate your comments.

  18. Mark

What do you think? Would you be able to sendme the video again or something as it doesn’t work on my computer properly.

  19. Bill G

    What do you think?
Steven, great video. Having a ‘map’ that people can follow to create change is the way to go about it I think. I’m glad you came through your earlier life crisis as well as you did. It just goes to show that we all have something important to offer each other. Keep up the good work!

    • Steven Aitchison

Thanks for your comments on this Bill, much appreciated.

    What do you think?
Ahhhh…The emotional self. That’s new to me but it makes sense. I’ve heard of the concept of connecting with your inner self but i’ve always envisioned a logical and/or spiritual version of myself when practicing this concept. I’ve also realized that my emotions can literally defy logic and when they’re in the drivers seat, it takes more than just an ordinary crowbar to pry them out – perhaps a self help grenade might work! :) I’m looking forward to seeing the “mastering your emotions” video you mentioned.
…Spock makes it look so easy – maybe I’m a Clingon at heart. :)

  21. DAVID PRIOR

I think the video was well constructed, and your integrity shines through. There is a lot more to you than I first realised, and it is clear to me you are speaking from a very knowledgeable platform. I think the work you are doing is invaluable, and I feel you must get a great deal of satisfaction, out of helping others.
I believe your turning point in life came at your at your lowest ebb, which reminds me of a saying which I think came from Benjamin Franklin, which sums up the position perfectly.”From the seed of adversity, comes the seed of an even greater bbenefit”.

  22. Mike

Great video, very insightful and you really keep it simple :)

  23. Ty Ramjohn

What do you think? Its 4:38am in Tampa Fl. and I just finished watching video 1. I was very moved and you resonate with me. I see allot of similarities between you and I except you still have you family and you are successful. Allot has happened to me in a short amount of time. I lost my job, I was evicted from my apt., my girlfriend broke up with me, my father has a terminal disease with no cure (ALS) I was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI), my license was taken away from me so I can’t drive, I had to move in with my parents so I can have a roof over my head and eat a little, I have lost allot of weight currently I am down to 130lbs. I owe my lawyer $1000.00, I have no money (I think I have a little change in a cup), and I haven’t been able to find a job (I haven’t even gotten a call back), there is no bus or transportation system in my area so I cant travel to look for a job. At this point I feel traped like there is no way out for me. I have thought about killing myself really hard. I am a logical person so I have a plan where no one would find me and I would do something good before I leave this place, so when I heard your story I started crying. The fact is I don’t really want to die I just want this emotional pain to go away and to be independent. I want to be able to take care of myself like I have up until this point. I want to be a good roll model for my son (he lives with his mother). The information is great and I have been in personal development all my life due to my depression and dyslexia and I have heard some of this information before but I do like the why you have constructed it in a step by step process. I am hoping that this program will get me on the right track but I’m not sure it will help me with my financial / legal or transportation issues but I am going to pure my heart into this (whats left of it) what do I have to loose I mean really?

Great video and information I will recommend it on my personal development blog. http://infiniteminds.wordpress.com I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting your time and effort into this material and for giving it away for free to help others and this is a price I can afford right now. I would love to do what you are doing, creating and giving away free personal development material to help others avoid the mistakes that I have made and to help them live a peaceful and fulfilling life. Actually I am in the process of writing an ebook on how to meditate and I want to give it away as a free download but I’m not sure how it’s going to happen with my situation.

Sorry if I brought you or anyone else down but I did feel a connection to you and this material and again Thank you so much for all that you do.

  24. Meryl C.

Dear Steven, from the depths of my Heart, I want to thank you for your courage, honesty, compassion, and for caring so much about other human beings. I have suffered for many years with Depression, and I have also been suicidal at times. I am in Recovery from substance abuse and I will soon have 5 years sober. I voraciously study self development and spirituality. I am in therapy and I put much effort into improving my life, my health and self growth. You Steven are a Ray of Light and Hope in this world! I am so grateful that I just happened to find you on the internet. I have downloaded your free information, and I have already learned quite a lot from you. Your Sincerity and Wisdom touch my heart and my spirit. I have spent many years studying and learning from successful people, people who are able and quite good at effecting positive changes in their lives. I am working at creating some changes in some key areas of my life. I have been disabled due to Depression for some 20 years. I have created some life enhancing rituals in my life over the last 3 years-physical exercise, meditation, visualization, expressing gratitude regularly for wonderful things and experiences in my daily life. The examples and stories that you have told in your videos are quite Powerful indeed. You have definitely been helpful to me and I want to thank you Steven. I also want to thank you for having the Courage to really be Your Self! And also to share with other people that you, as well as all of us, can learn from our life experiences and extract the Value out of them, and not only Grow from these experiences, but help other people to Grow as well from them. Your content is Phenomenal. You are a Brilliant Point of Light in a world that needs more Light, Hope and Love.

  25. Ana Reis

    Hi Steven,
It was an amazing video. I’m a very shy person and, because for that, I keep running away from the things I want. I’ve learned a lot from being shy, I learn to listen to others, to read the feelings of other people not needing a single word, I learn to be aware of the world around me and to remember even small but crucial details… So, I really don’t hate being shy, it’s just the way I am right now
But, eventually a person gets tired of running away. And changing that has been my goal for some time now. It has been difficult for me, but I think I really start to understand what needs to be done. Your video also helped me to find the right path. Can’t wait to see the other videos :)

English is not my first language, hope I didn’t make many mistakes.

    Ana

  26. john.O

This is awesome, Very inspiring and will make a difference in the lives of many, i apreciate this very much…

  27. lubin

Brilliant, cheers, I will visit again now.

  28. Muna

    What do you think?
Thank you for the video it was nice, but i have an idea why not to include the video English subtitles, English is not my mother language so it would be easier for me to have subtitle, also it would be good for other poeple i think !!!!

  29. Lisabeth Barefield

Victor you are so right. That is what I fear the most. That is the down side however, the up side is now with all the dilemas that we face with the current regime, we can copy and send out in a flash to our email groups who in turn send to their email buddies to spread the truth because believe me you certainly dont hear the truth on TV or in the newspapers. I love these postings from Personal Liberty Digest mainly because of the comments on the various subjects. I m surprised we have not had something from them on the Christmas day flight to Detroit as I would love to see all the comments on that one and make a few of my own.

  30. Liz

    Hi Steve

Just finished watching the first video. Liked very much your terminolgy, such as the title, Changing your Life’s Jacket, and Chunk the Change. Also liked how you break down the process of change. My favourite step is creating rituals – I hadn’t thought of that before, even though all of us have our own personal and then family and then work rituals. I’d never thought about changing mine and that’s what I’ll be examining over the next few days – how to change them and then establish them into my “Ideal Self’s” life!

And you’ve got me pondering about how the Core Self and the Ideal Self fit with the concept of the Subconscious Self and the Conscious Self. Interesting stuff, Steve!

    What do you think?
    Hi Steve,
    Thoroughly enjoyed your first video.
It gave me a good feeling. There were many parallels between what you had gone through and my own life.
I find myself at a point where I feel painted into a corner. Hating my job, hating the whole situation that I find myself in and desperately wanting it to change. I can’t wait for the next video. Thanks again.
